Pocket Grimoire
Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026
Pocket Grimoire is designed to keep personal practice private and local to the user's device.
Data collection
Pocket Grimoire does not create an account, run advertising or analytics, or collect personal data on a developer-operated server.
Information stored on the device
Journal entries, grimoire pages, petitions, supply records, devotional notes, settings, and altar photos selected by the user are stored locally in the app's iPhone container. A user may create a local backup and choose where to save or share that file using Apple's system interface.
Photos and authentication
The app receives only photos the user explicitly selects through Apple's PhotosPicker. Selected images are resized before local storage. Optional Face ID or device-passcode authentication is handled by Apple on the device; Pocket Grimoire does not receive or store biometric data.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional lifetime in-app purchase. The app reads Apple's purchase entitlement to unlock access. The developer does not receive payment-card details.
External source links
Published-source links open only when the user taps them. The destination website may receive ordinary connection information under its own privacy policy. Pocket Grimoire does not attach journal, grimoire, petition, photo, or other private app content to those links.
Deleting data
Users can delete individual records inside the app. Deleting the app through iOS removes its local app container, subject to Apple's device and backup behavior.
Children
Pocket Grimoire is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Changes and contact
Material policy changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. For privacy questions, email rickndanger@icloud.com.
